not a scooter build BUT...

Post by mookie »

.. though some of you might get a kick out of this.
heres a KTM concept bike. 125cc fantasy bike (for now)

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/photogall ... oncept.jpg

and my CR85 race bike. i want to attempt to, as well as i can with my limited abilities, emulate the KTM with the CR85.

already working on a front fender-RS50 spare

i have a new Leo Vince pipe i will quiet possibly try to graft on to it.
some serious concerns that it may reap havoc on the power band/ delivery so that will be a critical aspect.

but anyway thats the scope of it. i will if anyone cares to see post pics and updates.

obviously i can't get as sleek as the KTM but if you squint you may see glimpses of it.

well we go to several tracks around the south and north fla.
the tracks usually build either specifically mini roadracing
or "shifter"kart tracks.(same thaing only very different)

there is a new track you might be interested in visiting.
it is owned and operated by Phil Herrin, father of AMA Roadrace star Josh Herrin. it's in Dublin ,Ga.,that's southeast of Macon a coupla hours.

a first class kart and mini facility. bathrooms and showers as nice as any you'd see in a very decent motel.
anyway. you can pm me and we can talk on the phone if you are interested
