They were shot, and completely beyond salvaging. You can get replacement sets for around $100 from Japan.

Are you planning on running a disc brake setup? As-you-know, that will require a Live Dio steering tree vs. the much narrower one for the drum brake version.

My shocks are in the same boat. Not worth a crap. lol Most of the AF18's I imported had bad shocks.

I want to keep mine mostly stock except the engine. So I will prob buy a set this summer from Yahoo Japan. Do the ruckus forks fit?
Im not going to start until summer so I dont freeze my a s s off. Its gonna start snowin soon and I hate the cold.

Sanjuro do they sell aftermarket rim for the stock front brake hub for the AF18? I saw your rim on the front and it look hella kewl. Are you using the AF28 tripple tree and fork set up on the AF18 pictured?

Taz,

I would totally just ditch the stock setup. I hate drum brakes, and if there is an option, I will go with disc every time. I'm using a af28 triple tree with Dio ZX wheels. Skip the ruckus oem forks, they are crap too.

This took 16 days to get to my door from the moment I ordered it from WeBike Japan.

Wind Jammers for the AF18-E motor (...and easily used on an AF16 motor too)

Chamber volume appears slightly bigger than my Arrow pipe.

Did you sell that burial pipe you had? How much was the windjammer and what mods would I have to do to fit the af16e w/ malossi 47mm bore? Thanks for all the info on the pipes you can give.
