streched spree

Post by madskater1987 »

So me and my buddy were sitting around bored last night and we decided to wrench on the spree. So I removed the motor and motor mount. I took the motor mount and extended it 2.5'' and shave some of the frame so I would all fit together. Everything bolted right up no problems. The bike sits an inch or so lower but it looks pretty sweet.

Nice! Although the thumbnail photos are hard to see much detail. Is that Bow Tie orange I spy on the exhaust pipe ;-)

Did you have to do anything (get new ones) for the cables to reach?

I love the exhaust. Is it really loud?

Why did you extend the mount?

It looks like the rear brake cable is not hooked up. Is that because it doesn't reach now?

I am actually digging the wood floor board as well, has kind of an old beach wagon feel to it. What about our other questions, cables and such with the extra length?

As for the cables everything reaches fine. Except the rear brake cable, But my cable has been broke for quite some time(like 1500 miles). I have the elite front wheel and brakes so thats all i need it makes things more interesting.

O yea the pipe is pretty lond. Lets just say I don't drive around the neiborhood at night.
