Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello Im curently rebuilding my 1984-85 honda spree. I bought this about 3 years ago at the age of eleven. I got caught riding it so i decided to make it better. i want to know if i could put a honda elite 150cc engine on it. I am a very good welder and need some help.

What is a dio?....what does it do lol

Dio is the motor out of a 94-01 elite 50. It can be modded to go over 70mph if you need that kind of speed.

And it'll look alot more stock than a 150.

There is a lot more info on these forums you just have to take time to read it all. You would need to find a dio motor on these forums or ebay.

Young and dumb. You not only don't have the experience to run one of these at 70 mph but you will end up hurt of dead.

Thanks for the consideration bear but im still looking for a dio engine....fck the system haha i have two spree engines the current one i have will break 40 with me on it...i weigh about 105.
I could get 250 dollars in seconds...would that be a reasonable price for a dio engine? somone help me out....

Around $100 for a block. Used on Ebay seems to be about $200-275 +shipping when one pops up.
