Elite SR rebuild
This an elite sr I built up from spare parts about 5 or 6 years ago. It was actually in pretty good shape once upon a time but need to be refurbished and cleaned. The bottom end has a new set of bearings and the top end is one of the 50mm kits I sell. I geared it 15*42 in the * end. Im gonna throw a new belt on her with a fresh variater and a rear kick start cover I bought off VT cycles. Also going to add a ct intake with a 24mm carb. Using a low end aftermarket pipe. Ohh I forgot I got a japan faceplate and rear Im gonna add. The faceplate has like 6 layers of paint on it so that will be fun.
Here is the honda tact I am getting the face and rear tail off. I will also have to transfer the handlebars.
Here is the front face panel

I am not sure what kind of bike this is But I have a halloween party to go to on Oct.22
and was thinking about going as a scooter . Do you think velcro will hold this thing on my shirt .
I don't know what it's called but it looks like a knights plate of armor or a crappy bullet proof vest .

Re: Elite SR rebuild
Here are more pics. I went with a yellow this time.
Here are the pics of stripped down elite sr.
Had to replace the handlebars to fit the new faceplate.
Here is what the panels look like all dirty. I just ordered a new floorboard because mine was not in the best of shape. It was painted and looks like s***.
Here is the faceplate. If you notice the light tabs are broke so I had to use some epoxy to fix it.
I also had to rewire the new face but I did not pictures. This is before I re-wired the face.
I installed a few pieces.
