Re: "Got storage project"
well, ive been thinking. ive always wanted to do this. this is what i wanted to build. something small and can be used for little stuff. this will more less only be used for the car cruises and shows. dan designed the hitch bracket. its at my work gettin welded up. should have it mostly done by the weekend. now...i need some input from u all. i wanna run some lights to it. i was thinking for a bit...how would they work? the brake light and singnals are seperate on the bike. i would either have running lights with brake light......or just blinkers. i dont think i can have both for the trailer? i dont know but i think this trailer would hold some beer for 66six lol. might have to make one for him lol heres where im at so far. was going to paint it red to match the scooter, but most of every trailer i seen is black. so black it is.

Looking good
At the rate you, Dan and 66Six are building, might as well be the welder and grinder on the trailer, so you can build anywhere.
---
For signals, brake or tail lights, look to LED's to keep additional load low. You could have all lamps lit with LEDs w/o an issue. There's 1157 and 1156 base style LED's which are a drop in fit to Gyro/Spree tail and turn signal housings.
---
I saw an '86 TG50 for sale couple years ago on 'net with a custom made trailer. Looked like a scaled down Harbor Freight 4x8 flatbed. The guy put on a 2 rail wood sides, and stake pockets in the trailer bed. And painted the frame 'red' to look like a HF model...

Re: "Got storage project"
Me too....my trailer ideas were all good, but found that several manufacturers have already done the engineering, produced the trailers, and far better than I could have....... ......my goal was different from yours.....I was going to produce these for sale and use on the street behind any scooter.....for groceries, handyman tools, garage sales, pets.......As for lights, you can wire it just like any trailer and have ALL lights...no problem...just use separate turn signals, small ones.......only thing I would suggest is heavy duty flasher to accommodate additional lights.....looks like your frame will handle that small block for your next Corvette build.........
+1 on LED's......they are expensive, though

Re: "Got storage project"
Funny thing I just got some turn signals at PepBoys $3.49 each with bulb (PILOT MARKER LIGHT #NV5064S ) I just thought they look kinda retro tear drop.
The big problem is finding a good connector and you will have to cut or splice or make a twofer to connect to your signal
lights (I tried to get Honda connectors but they don't sell them ) I also tried to find other connectors but every one was a different size and would not match Honda ... Sucks !
As for the red running light ??? Harbor Frieght has LED strips for around ?? $9 bucks / just something to think about also they have round trailer lights but are not cheap if you go LED .

Re: "Got storage project"
Should be loads of fun......that hitch will work fine considering the absence of lean.....t-jamz hitch looks great, but with mounting position this high on the scoot, pivoting geometry seems a little off.....
