Greetings:

Yeah, yeah great work. Now quit fartin' around with grab bars and Spree shock mounts and make me a sidestand, Dang it all!

Wheelman, I hear your calls good sir. The side stand is coming.

Ok guys, here are some new pics. I had to make a taller bend on the top section of the grab bar (where you actually grab it). When I pounded out the old bend it broke one of my temporary tack welds, and that started an entire cavalcade of bull-honkie.

This project is an excellent learning experience, I can assure you.

Anyway, I had to fabricate a custom jig to get the mounting arms welded on.

I think she's coming along nicely.. All I have to do is finish up the welds on the mounting arms, make the final bends in the mounting arms, attach the flat pieces on the ends of the mounting arms, and weld a cross beam across the base of the mounting arms.

If anyone ever tries to tell you that making a grab bar is easy, please do this....

and then chop them in the throat.

its only difficult because you're doing it the right way... not the "bubba" way.
great work.
once you do it the first time, you'll be able to whip them out in 10 minutes each.

Alright, the wife ran off with the good camera again, so these pics are from the ole cell phone.

I've got everything welded up. All I need to do is some final grinding/smoothing out before paint, and then drill the holes.

KingJeff...sorry this is taking so long. I got put on Mr. Mom duty this week as my wifes friends are in town.

All that's left is drilling holes and painting. Should have it in the mail this weekend.
