Greetings:

Incredibly tasteful attention to detail. I love the paint and Power Bulge. So how hard is it to strip the saddle and re-foam?

Thanks guys! The seat will probably be redone at some point or maybe I'll just make another with a pre made red seat cover off ebay.

Yup, 1 gallon aluminum go kart gas tank off ebay. It's linked together with the stock tank, both have manual shutoff valves. I considered buying the round spun type tanks but it would have stuck out as wide as the rear turn signals. Now I can ride my spree for more than 25 miles without stopping for fuel.

I decided to experiment and try to lighten a nh125 flywheel, since it worked out pretty well on my ch80.

Before weight: 2.690 lb
After weight: 2.365 lb

Going back to your painting phase. Did you black your floor board then mask it for the white? Or do the white first and mask for the black? What black did you use? Satin? I thinking of the same pattern but maybe wrinkle or liner paint on the flats for your feet.

I used a factory black colored floorboard, shined up the foot area and masked it off before painting. I would guess no paint wouldn't be durable enough to last on the area your feet rest, it would eventually chip off. I had a thought of sanding off the bumps and putting down skateboard grip tape.

I never actually finished the custom speedo covers, kinda an unfinished project that didn't work as good as I thought. I had trouble getting the speedo needle off to put the cover over, not sure it would work after I was done. Also the cluster light wouldn't shine through the cover that well, it's just laminated prints I had done at kinkos highest quality printer.

You could try printing this out and seeing if it's the right size, might have have to change printer settings to actual size or save it and resize.
