N4S Motorwerx "Spree Rebuild" Smile no goin broke your face!
Well its about time I posted something for all you out there!
This build has been in the back burner long enough and its time to do it! This is going to be my new 72cc street/drag racer.
wanted to show all of you with a hacksaw, disc grinder, vice and a mig welder what can be done. All my builds are done with these tools..
First i had to lug out a Spree out of my extra room in the house. that it self was a chore!
After talking it all apart, started to pull off any unnecessary tab wire tabs and clean up the frame.
Made my own disc brake crown with a DD50 and spree fork, Still needs work on it as im still trying to weld on some stoppers for the fork. The fork I had to machine a few parts to make it. I wish I had a lathe and mill. I would never leave my work place!
Next step was to do a dio mount for it. I did a stretch on the mount as well, total length 8 inches.
Tacked back in the tongue as well to keep the mount from bucking when you accelerate.
Finished Mount!
Once the mount was done, I did the necessary cutting for the rear tire
The shock mount started out as one from a old DD frame
Once I got my location, I Reinforced it, spaced it out then boxed it in
For More strength i bent a 1/8 in steel plate 90 degrees and drilled holes in it to plug weld it to the frame. Also welded a small piece in the low spot , again for my bite for the plate.
Didnt like the angle of the shock ,but for clearance issues with the carb thats the best it will get. Still sits alittle high but thats a easy fix. This is set up more for the look than the ride!
Worked on the headset next. Since the headset is totally different that the US version I had to weld some tabs for it
Once all the basic mock up was done took it all apart and repainted it.
Frame
Fork Crown
Motor Mount
Gas tank
Re assembled it sure looked clean compared to what it was!
Got it rolling! still dont have my forks and front wheel in but at least its done!
well here are the plastics im going to use.. LOL oh yeah, did i forget to mention its a spree "smile"? They are a little faded, but that wont be a problem!
Back of head set, all shiny like a bald mans head fresh from the barber shop lol!
One of the side panels still working on the rest.
This is the front shield , had to make some cut outs for the fork tree
Head set front view
Headset back , leg shield cut for the fork tree. Going to get a glove box cover for it.
Side view of rear panels. Not sure on the ride height yet, once i get it all together ill make that decision.
Gas tank and seat, I also have a full covered seat as well with red ribbing
Got the headlight and speedo set up from my friend Smile!
thanks fo da hook up brah! Brake master set up, trying to get another head piece so i can re do it, didnt like the way it came out, but for now it will suffice.

Its for cooling...
more surface area for the air
That motor was my original drag bike motor i built 5 years ago. 125cc last time I used it it still did 8.8 in the 1/8 and the fastest time in the 1/4 was a 14.4. I just keep it as a spare in case my 130 goes boom, that way I can still race at the track and have fun.

That's awesome, makes me wish I learned how to weld way back when!

Zuphillius Welding is easy once you get the hang of it. I was self taught. Is it perfect? not in my eyes, but I trust my welds. I just bought a mig one day and went to town! LOL
It took me a while to figure it out but once i did it was awesome. Its not even a gas mig, flux core wire only. My next investment is a tig . Cant wait to tweak out and try to make the welds perfect!! haha!!
