Thats the reasons why I love showing builds here. I hope t will give others inspiration go and build something of their own!! people think that you have to have alot of tools and stuff to do these rebuilds, yes if i did it sure would make it easier. Ally ou need is a good eye for what you want and go for it! There is really no right or wrong when doing things. Maybe safe vs unsafe.. thats diffrent!

Very nice man. Islander huh? Grew up on BI, lived on Oahu and Maui and moved to LA last year. So awesome to have a scoot in the islands. I just picked up a '84 Spree. Unfortunately it's not running but when it is I'm gonna see what I can do. Anyway good stuff!

I was thinking maybe later il do a few complete disc fron ends to sell. Here in Hawaii dd50 front ends are in abundance LOL
just waiting for some RRGS drop forks, still deciding on the rear shock, but for racing no shock. Still looking for a low brake master, trying not to cut the head set as well..

you need a jap headset with the round headlight al the sprees (nifty fifty/eve) have them here

hehe im using the original smile one for this project, want to get the Jdm look for this.
Only thing is no speedo, but im planning to put carbon fiber insert then add my temp gauge small switches for lights is i decide to put some on. That willbe the next project looking for a OEM speedo gauge for the future "street" use

It looks the same size an elite e speedo.

Could a sb50 speedo fit?
