left case is af16 and right case dd50.

because the dd50 stator/mag are cheap than honda af16 stator/mag.

all you guys are right but the main reason is because this bike has a Daytona Endurance Outer Rotor Kit. This kit only fit on the DD50 half block and not on the af16. what this kit does is it turns a fast bike to a super fast bike. haha.
