rattle cans. i have all the equipment for spraying. I just didnt want to invest $100 or more in paint. you can get just as good results out of a can than a gun. its all in how you prep.

I tried to also do a black one.
I didn't remove the forks because trying to pick up 27 ball bearings
really sucks .

Done with the first base coat. They came out AMAZING. I'm really impressed with this paint. first coat with no sanding or polishing and its almost a mirror finish. Probably going to start sanding today then lay down the second coat. after that its on to clear coat. i know clear over gloss paint is kinda redundant but I'm doing it mainly for scratch protection.

my process has been sanding everything down with 220 grit wet dry. painting with 2 coats of primer sanding between each coat. then painting 1 coat of black and sanding that with 3000 grit wet. then the final coat of black and two coats of clear. Alot of work but its all worth it.

Looks nice, what brand spray paint did you use?

When you're done, try using Rust Olem spray laquer, it gives the paint really good depth.

I have been using all rustoleum products and i have to say that i am really impressed. I personally hate laquer paint. I dont like how it covers and the fact that it only works with itself. acrylic paint is more durable and covers alot better. but thats just my opinion

Absolutely! For now I'm just painting these parts. Once those are done, I'll start working on the rest of the plastic pieces. Except for the piece that cover's the back part of the frame. its right below the brake light housing. its in perfect shape so I've decided to just leave it as is.
