Side alley aero find

Post by Pismobear »

Got a junk 87 aero ($50.) for my 85 aero project. That meant I now have the air box cover, rear wheel and all the stuff to do the kick start conversion.
:2thumbs:
You gotta stop, hey, whats that sound? Everybody look.. Ah whatever.

Sweet.

I hate not having a kickstart option on the old Sprees and Aeros and some of the newer Elites etc.

Its funny Honda learned almost 30 years ago that scooters need kickstarts because batteries die and electric start mechanisms fail, especially when you need them the most i,e. cold weather, after she has been sitting for a while and needs to get going, etc.

Now we see Yamaha and some other companies making the same mistake again.

That castrated monstrosity they call the new Zuma has no kicker and its supposed to be like rugged. What a piece of crap.
