I agree, nicely done. Particularly the concealed wires in the frame. I know how much of a PITA that job is, but worth the time. You don't plan on running it without the left cooling shroud, do you? 90 percent of Forum posts describing that practice burn up sooner or later. The other 10% lie.
yes im not gonna use the left plastic cover. ive observed and took advice from my friend in the Philippines that had built the fastest honda dios in our town. The heat escapes faster when that side is open. But im not gonna argue to anyone in here that preffered to keep it. just happend that i trust him when it comes to tuning bikes overall.

today I decided I should make a rear rack for my spree so I can carry a gallon of gas on long rides. I have 2 extra rear racks from the elite so I'm gonna mod it to fit the spree.

il have it cleaned up.. then weld a sheet metal as a mounting base and drill holes matching the existing bolts

kingearwig wrote:thanks for the link. The naked elite is looking good. What is your plan for a floorboard?
that i dont know yet.. i have wood floorboard done but i dont know if il put it.. Im thinking of using plexi glass also.

If you didn't already have the frame powder coated I would tell you to go with pegs... but a little late for that.

Re: nujee scooter builds - Honda Ruckus

Post by nujee »

A bike I started building last month.. This is my 3rd ruckus. The 2nd one only lasted 3 weeks and got sold. Deadline was to make it to Vespa Scooter Annual Toy Run in San Diego (December 15, 2013). All I wanted is a simple yet clean looking ruck this time.. no gy6, no super low stance, not too stretched, not too fancy and it has to be white so I bought new shasta white rear frame and battery box. Here we go.

Stripped the bike and had front frame powdercoated. Stickerbomb the bottom part of the gas tank.

Got all the parts needed.. so I started to put them together.

put a barcode to show ownership

Had a local upholstery shop made me a seat.

Almost done..

And here it is.. done
