Spree down Spry Street

Hey guys, my name is Casey. I operate Skorch Industries down here in sunny Southern California. I purchased a 1986 Honda Spree in August of 2013, with just 275 miles on the odometer.. as of now, it has 2,669 miles on it. It's been a fun ride, but it's time to step it up.

First of all, I would like to thank a few people on this site for helping me out when I had problems. Thanks to this site, I have learned so much about scooters!

At this point, the clutch is slipping, and I failed at an attempt to upgrade the exhaust. I would like to keep this page up to post any updates on my progress.

Here is how it was when I bought it in August of 2013:

Sorry to hear your exhaust diddnt work out. Your clutch may just need to be degalzed with some 100 grit emmry cloth and cleaned with brake clean and re assembled. :-) for exhaust you want one of these

Thanks Pat, I got lucky when I found it locally off of craigslist for $550 last August. I loved driving it so much, never imagined I'd clock in so many miles! I'm planning on building my own pipe; I've been researching the cone shape a 2-stroke needs to return fuel back into the cylinder. The exhaust I put on it would work fine if it were a 4-stroke, but there is certainly not enough back pressure for it to run right. It runs better than when it was just an open pipe however, I had to ride 2.5 miles like that lol.

Yes I designed it to be made out of thin sheetmetal, do you want one? I could make it
