Don't go big bore if you want to save gas ha. The 24mm and up carbs are gas hogs and you should use a 19 or 21mm arreche if you're looking for a resolution that still gives performance and conservative fuel use.

I've heard good things about the oko air boxes and I think someone on here uses one currently. I've yet to ever try any air boxes.

I wonder if it makes less noise than the air filter would.

Greetings:

The OKO does little to reduce noise, but the rubber snorkel might improve the intake efficiency. Flash 5 ran faster with the OKO box than with a pod. Unfortunately it's let down by really crappy materials, My snorkel has cracked and all but split at the seam. I wish they sold the snorkel separately.

It's challenging to mount the box without kinking the snorkel. It's also prone to foul the black fender skirt if you run one. I used a heat gun to change the angle of the screw that bolts up to the case behind the shock. Then I got cute with washers and spacers to locate it as well as I could. It does offer a heavier carb a little support from astern.

Next I sanded down the CT intakes. I don't think 10 gals of gasket maker would ever make these things seal up.

Started with a 320 grit and 600 to smooth it out.

Next the big bore install

I sprayed down the cylinder with degreaser to get all machining metal out of the cylinder. I spray it down till the rag comes out clean.
I coated the piston, jug, rod bearing, and piston pin soaked in KLOTZ 2t racing oil. This stuff smells amazing.
