Now I am thinking of bringing the handle bars down. I am going check out how much I can cut off from the forks. Lots of excess space. This thing should be a wheelie king! It will also take up less space in the garage. The blue tape is where I will be removing more material.

Thanks Ped and Swim,

This scooter should be pretty small when I am done. I absolutely love the ch80 motor, and reliability. They looks are a bit too boring to me though. My plan is to use the rear of the seat and have the handlebars near the front of the seat. Maybe it we will call it the heavycompo? After the smaller motocompo idea.

Another note: I have not opened the side cover yet for to inspect the belt/ variator and other goodies. I bet the roller are going to be horrible at around 25mph, the scooter just stops accelerating well and take forever to reach 35. This poor guy was rode hard and put away wet too many times. Thanks to Honda it still works, too bad there is no kickstart.

Make sure to change the rake. If not you're going to hit a pothole and flip or bend something. They came with a horrible angle from the factory but thanks to the wish bone like front suspension it was still safe. If the front comes down so does the back on most bikes.
Looks pretty different for sure, going to be unique!

Thanks for the tip! So extend the angle the front wheel further forward because its too vertical from the factory? I think I am on the same page. Kinda like what guys do to choppers.
