Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello everyone. I am new on the fourm, but I am not new to the sprees. I have a couple sprees for a long time and they look mostly like new, but I have always wanted to build my own so here it is. I got an 85 spree frame for 15 bucks off craigslist. I was planning to put an aero 50 engine in it. The aero engine and spree where 90% complete so here are some pictures. I'll add some more as I start working on it.

Ok update, wiring is done. Had to re-pull the plastics and rebuild starter button, replace front brake cable and get a speedo cover.

Ok new update sorry it's been a while. I got the new cylinder and piston on,replaced all panel with black ones and got it run in and driving. More pictures on the way.

It's Done!!! It took a half a year and I stayed on budget. It was a lot of work but it was worth it in the long run. I have my own spree customized my own way. It has an 87 elite 50 engine. I've already taken it for a couple 1 and 2 mile rides already. It has outstanding acceleration and it topped out at 44. There are still some small things I wouldn't mind doing like repainting it and putting stock back panels on it. It has made it a long way and for now I am going to enjoy it and ride it all season.
