A scooter for my Son

If you take an 87 elite and chop the neck down to 7" or so, you can fit the forks from a 1983 express on the front.

1995 elite s handle bars bolt right on top of that.

Chop six inches or so off the rear of the rear of the frame too, and slap a spree seat on it.

Yeah... Ilike the looks so far. :thumbwink:

This project still needs a gas tank.

I was thinking of making one. Im not sure if I'm talented enough for that.

This scooter is for my son... so the 72cc MHR with the scorp pipe had to go.

That is a great way to get your son involved with the scooter world. Gotta keep the scooters going strong! And is that gonna be a naked scoot??

nice work TJ. the scooter looks really cool. if he was my son I would put the wood floor board on, like your other scooter. but that's just me, a little safer than pegs :imo:
either way he's really going to enjoy it, and that's what it's all about. :thumbwink:
Life's a trip enjoy the ride.
