Greetings:
Way cool fasteners. Limited audience appreciation, but I am among them. Your attention to detail portends a successful build. Thanks for sharing.

Re: '94 Elite Build (winter project)
Thanks man I have been admiring your build as well. I just tend to get into things a little bit and try to give it that little bit of "extra" even with small subtle things like hardware.

Greetings:
I believe your copper goo won't make a problem, but not so sure about that Yellow Fan. People have posted back things about them blowing up at inopportune times. There isn't much wrong with the stock fan. Proceed with caution.

Re: '94 Elite Build (winter project)
I tried to kick it over by hand on the bench, and it has some pretty good compression (not scientific) , but it is pretty hard to kick by hand.
That fan was on the bike with the Taiwan BBK and it didn't blow up that time, but I just stick it on there because I'm not sure where I put the OEM fan.
The the goo I was concerned about is the arp thread lubricant. I think I used a little too much as it oozed out a little and squeezed out between the cylinder and gasket. We will see what happens once I get it running. As far ad the head gasket goes, I installed the o-ring dry minus the tiny bit of rtv to keep it from falling.
What would be a symptom of base gasket leaking?

The kx/rm reeds are great for the stop go for around town. You'll get around 3k miles out of them depending how hard you ride. The single petal designs are best for all out power but sacrifice bottom end. Boyesen makes a single petal also.
How did you like the Kitano belt? The polini belt is great for me so far. Interesting fact the polini belt is made by gates.

I have had good luck with the regular dual stage reeds on other machines. Figured I'd try these out.
I went from the OEM to the Kit belt and it seemed to work really well. Help up pretty good also.
