Ok well here is what happened after the crash broken steering stem.
Image
Took it apart again!
Image
And then I had to look for the parts to repair. Somehow I stumble upon another 2001 honda elite sr and had to scoop that one up.
Image
Now I have one for my wife. Image
It was bone stock, then i got a corsa, 28 carb, gears, pulley, variator, clutch, belt , exhaust all the bolt ons I can get for this thing. She rips and tops out at 61mph with 9.1 gearing. Okay enough about that scoot now back to this one lolz

Found more parts and spent more money to get it back on the road again, (Thanks Graphite9)
Found a live zx headset so had to scoop that too. Just the headset no handle bars, I had to make it fit with the elite handle bars. Cut and reweld the mounting tabs. And for the wiring if you are gonna do this mod for any headsets PM I'll show you how it all goes together.

Then I picked up a front disc set up from eBay.

Image
Got a smaller 3.0 tire up front cause the 3.5 and being lowered scraped when I riding on bumpy roads, FYI the first disc set up was cheap and a learning experience.
Image
Now she sits nicely!!

Picked up zx trans kit , polini for ruckus variator. (Thanks Graphite9 again) shaved my cases for zx trans and variator to fit.

Let me tell you from first hand experience with this zx trans, you will love it, it gives more bottom end back but lose a few miles up top. I have 7.2 gearing on this one and it takes off almost like the red one I have. Then I slowly pull ahead after 53mph.

FYI need to install belt and everything to really see what else you need to take off. (Thanks to PED for his thread)

A ride the outer day.

Image

I did everything you see in these pictures in my garage with a welder, air compressor, paint gun, and misc hand tools and wrenches. I started off by joining Hondaspree.net read a lot of threads from all you go fast guys. Looked for a scooter for the right price cause if you over spend on a scoot u won't have budget to modify your scoot to go faster. I had ask for help from a few members and had great feedbacks from you guys. I would really want to thank everyone on Hondaspree.net for sharing your builds, bits of information, and knowledge on these mopeds, really made me good hard into it. I have made it and have finally finished it. These will never get old for me. Time to enjoy and ride! Thanks to all that helped! You know who you are. God Bless!

Nicest elite I've seen yet. Awesome work, I wish I had your skills. Ive seen builds of this caliber before when I was into Zumas, those builders were from Quebec. The fiberglassing is sweet. You should mass produce like 10 sets of plastics to sell here.
a guy fabbed up a new front end for the bugeyed z umas. Sold them for about $250 a pop and couldn't keep up with the demand. It was called a greenwood front end.
