Sweet color! It's a neat ride for sure!
Are you running an inline fuel filter? Check to be sure you're not running out of fuel flow like I did on my one elite and big main jet running ported corsa. It would idle up after a long 13k wot run, one time I happen to be in view of the empty fuel filter. The vent needed to be opened up. It was an easy solve but before I sure was changing pilots moving clips, and spraying carb cleaner over every nook and cranny on that tiny engine.

I dressed it up with pretty clear fuel and vacuum lines with a fuel filter initially. Then the day of the broken key, I pulled the new and fancy lines and replaced them with their stock counterparts to eliminate them as the issue.

Ive got my trail tech "roughed " in. Ive got more filling and smoothing to do, but its coming along well enough.

I replaced the stock cluster bulbs with blue ones. Theyre a little highrr wattage, but not really bright next to the trail tech. I wired them to the ignition as well, so I think the headlight is my only a/c component.

Went for a ride today with the gauge installed to see whats what. No long WOT throttle runs, there isn't any roads around here that require that. Mostly rode 1/4-1/2 throttle with RPMs around 8-9k... max temps I saw was 368. To approach said cruising speed, I would use WOT throttle til I got there. No temp changes, usually hovered right around 330.
While using WOT to accel, I would see about 10.9k RPM, which would quickly drop to 10.4k RPM them rise to 11K(maybe more?) if I left the throttle open. I didn't pass 11k, as things began to feel weak and vibrate a lot.... I'm still gonna play with the rollers a little to see what 11K plus feels like for power, but at first impression, this build likes 10.5k. I'm a little surprised. Not disappointed yet though, cause my butt dyno and first impression have been wrong before.

It feels like there is a lot of power in the 8-9k rpm range as well. I may be able to further upgear, and lighten the rollers to keep RPMs the same, but increase speeds. Kind of feels like im running out of gears). Top speed is not my prerogative, acceleration and a top speed of 55-60 is my liking.

Af16s are just kind of nervous engines after 10k rpm. I compared my stroker to riding a 79 ke100.
Change your contra spring before you do rollers more.

ok, ive got the malossi red to replace the polini blue with. On the bright side of things, I put $70 in to new brake system components and it really paid off. The levers move like they're new, and the braking has improved 500% over what I was dealing with before.

I keep hearing the polini blue isn't made for high hp builds.
I use the blue on a corsa build and it's great so far but who knows.

IMO its like a malossi yellow. Suitable indeed. Im happy with the performance of my scooter but I haven't fine tuned it yet. I may end up going back to the blue, but that little drop in revs is either from the rollers, or the torque spring.... or the angled slots in the torque driver. Im gonna play with lighter rollers regardless; just to see how that pipe handles the higher RPMs. My exhaust port timing is rather high with being in the mid to high 180's. If the pipe is on, the motor should be there.

New torque driver today. Polini evo ceramic for piaggio modified. Of course im not using the full face, but it has 2 straight sets of pin slots for a buttery smooth transition.

excellent modification dirtyE. taking advantage of a full size pulley for maximum torque.
may I ask what's the model on the Piaggio clutch or scooter? Thanks

I had it on my hyper2 piaggio powered 94cc big evo SR50. The bearing on the fixed rear pulley went bad. I gave it to whitey but I was over there today and tried it out. He was kind enough to give it back.
