getting there
I still need to paint the hood
the weather isn't cooperating
been raining and too humid to finish painting

need to find my assortment of carb needles
every spare carb I have I took the needles out of
also waiting on the temperature gauge before I start it up

to do list mount carb and cable
clutch springs contra spring variator
ignition switch
get a good friend to cut some graphix
fix or replace bent center stand ( its rubbing on tire )
and a battery My purple one needs a new battery
so this one may get its old one
put the 8.5 gears in ( will do that outside in garage)

Very nice way of spending less money to rebuild a scooter. Practically pennies you spent just the time and labor, Improvise. Looks very tasteful. Night Rider!

some things I didn't take pictures of the repairs
the front tab that holds on the side panels on by the battery
you can use a piece of a broken upper under the headlight
the plastic is the right thickness to fix the tab

one of the screw bosses for the headlight is really long
cut it off and you can use for repairing
the screw bosses on the hood that attach to the front inner fender

left to do
fix the center stand its bent
waiting for temp guage and install
take outside change gears
add battery & gas


had a old air filter for my motorcycle
so I came up with this ( this is a proto type some mods will be made)
I wanted it to fit under the side skirt
2.0 piece of exhaust 2.0 hose 6mm coupling nut brazed to the exhaust
and some 1/8 x 1/2 steel for support
this is what I came up with

this build as of now consists of
block, stock crank / with 8.5 gears mild intake porting
72cc polini used bore / w new piston
trail tech temp guage
stock elite variator /w polini 6.9 gram weights
used CT intake
28mm pwk carb 45 pilot 128 main JJH needle clip center
used malossi yellow contra spring
2000 clutch springs stock clutch and bell
used arrow rep pipe

waiting on decals
(4,840 on odometer)

That looks like P.O.P... Picture Of Perfection! I love the the paint, a nice unique color. That should haul along real nice with that setup. Those pipes are real monsters down low!

I've good a good deal on a set of met rims for that beast of your interested! Great looking build gotta love being able to use up I'll the spare parts.

put in my old polini variator from the purple bike
with 5.6 gram polini weights
the stock variators are crap
and put in polini 3 shoe clutch with blue polini springs
really good takeoff
great passing power 25-45 mph
no top speed run
im thinking 62 to 65mph ish
just need to put some miles on it

Was made a offer I couldn't refuse (sold it) a couple of weeks ago
it was a fun ride and I miss it

never got to gps or do fine tunning
but it probally did 60-65 ish

time for another project ?
