I too got my first Spree last month and just found your forum. An '84 with 1.7K on the clock for $375. It starts easily, but when I try to accelerate the engine bogs like it is either starving for fuel or flooding. If I very gently give it the gas it will sometimes rev thru the flat spot if I am on level or going slightly downhill. If I try to pull up a slight incline, no go it just bogs and will die and then sometimes it is difficult to restart until it sits for a while. Where do I begin to look for the problem. My Honda wrenching has so far been confined to four strokes, this l'il two-smoker is a new critter to me.

Many Thanks!

Mike Simmons
