Honda Spree w/Elite Swap (Full Story)

Hi All!
I have been on the forums for a few months now and I have never actually posted anything about my build. I figured it's about time.
It all started back in about July when my car stopped working. I was really looking for a cheap, inexpensive way to get from home to school and work. I did some research and found out about the Honda Spree. I ended up finding one that was in pretty rough condition for $150 on Craigslist. I traveled that same day and bought it.
When I got it home, I first cleaned up the carb and then took it for it's first spin in about 2 years according to the previous owner.
After about a month of owing it I took it to my local junkyard to hunt down some parts for getting my car back up and running. When I walked in I noticed a familiar figure hiding behind some bikes.... Another Spree!!! This one had plastics in better shape and also a nice seat and many other bits and pieces that I needed.
I couldn't pass it up. I bought that Spree for $100 (Barley Ran needed some work) and took it home.
Before I could walk out the door the guy working at the time started asking me a few questions about my plans for my spree and whatnot. We got into talking about it and he offed me an AF16E engine that he had sitting in the back. He took me around to show me what he had sitting there and it was perfect!
I didn't know at the time that the AF16E's were pretty nice engines but I bought it anyway for again, only $100! After some research and work I managed to put all the best parts onto one spree along with the Elite engine.
I really like my project because it wasn't something that I really planned out, It just happened because I needed a way to get around for a few weeks. Good came out of bad.
I guess I wrap up story time with a few picture and timeline of my spree:
These were the first picture of it that I took. All I did was add a quick layer of black paint to the sides:

After some time I managed to swap the Elite engine on and get an Exhaust on it:

Then I finished up the pain job:

After the mods, I had a hard time getting the plastics to fit again so I had to make some cuts:

Just a cool pic:

So its been a project but I have fallen in love with these things! Let me know what you think and especially let me know if you have any ideas as to what I could do to make it better!
Thanks For Reading!!!
