Greetings:

Cold weather makes that rich condition a little less so. Denser, more-oxygen-containing air makes a rich motor really wake up, along with its rider.

Its been a long time since I posted in this forum, but I just wanted to say 'hi' and thank everyone for all the help. The Honda se50 has been running perfectly thanks to the help I found here. I've been letting my tenant use it to get to her job and it works great! I can't believe a whole year and probably 2000 miles have gone by without a hiccup. (She did launch it off the stand on accident and bust the turn signals, but the ones I bought to replace them had it looking better than before in less than 2 hours). I think a big part of my success was using a local machine shop that was the only place people would trust with motorcycle bores. I'm sure some people can bore them successfully, but as I've read, the reason japanese motorcycles took off in the 1970s was the precision with which they were made.
