Greetings:

Looks cool. Where's that front wheel from? You should know that 70% of a bike's available stopping power comes from the Front wheel. A panic stop, even from only 30 MPH, is a looong black skid mark, hopefully not leading into the side of a Buick.

Maybe you don't need front brakes when you are slowasf*ck

Greetings:

I won't even ride a pedal bicycle without a front brake. I have a beach cruiser 3-Speed that came without one. Got a kit from Performance or Nashbar or someplace and retro-fitted one.

On closer inspection - eyeball the distance between the top of the tire and the fork, comparing it with the apparent available fork travel - it's possible that there'll be a HUGE front brake effect if the front fork compresses and the tire makes contact with the crotch of the fork. Might be a little Stoppie-Prone? Ride at your own risk...

I ride it about 30 miles a day and have no problems. I had a 99 Harley Sportster 1200 with no front brakes... Never a problem. Just don't be a pu**y!!The front wheel is a 20 inch axle-less hub wheel from a freestyle bmx bike. (A * of a lot stronger than the stock spree wheel)

I also chopped the front fender off, trimmed the rear panels, added an aftermarket HID headlight, big bore kit, fmf gnarly dirt bike muffler and so on..
Next I want to do some custom forks and handlebars and stretch the rear

Greetings:

I too had a Sporty, a 2002 1200S. For my sake H-D wisely fitted not one but TWO 11.5" discs, each squeezed by 2-piston calipers. I didn't think I was Puffy when I used them. Glad you're OK. The scoot does look pretty cool, but please watch for that Buick.

Ya.... usually I'm not too worried about safety, but that rim looks sketchy haha. But cool, probably stable at high speed. That front brake is crazy important tho, I'm not even running a rear right now and that seems sketchy but I've been w/o the front and it's not cool haha.
