The cool thing about a Gyro is, you can fall off while it stays upright!
Seriously tho, they don't look easy to ride.

After riding the Solar Wind for 10 minutes or so, I got tired of the clutch dragging. I hoped that it would clear up on it's own, but it didn't, so I pulled the belt cover and then the driven pulley and clutch assembly. I found this inside:

No sign of the clutch springs anywhere, nor the other half of the left shoe. The only conclusion I can reach is that the P.O. cleaned all the broken parts out of the belt case, and then put the side cover back on, and that is why the scooter hadn't been ridden in more than 5 years, allowing the gasoline to jell up. The engine runs great now, and soon as the clutch parts come in at Love Honda, I should be finishing up the restoration of Solar Wind..

I think vintage-G can give you some first-hand feedback about the Gyro-S model. Falling off one would make you look like a real maroon...says the guy who has low-sided twice...

You should really adopt a new username Vaughn.
I'm thinking of something more appropriate, like "basket case"...
Happy new year sir. Making plans now for a brief stay in Macon, GA...no date picked yet.
Might wait long enough to get into warmer Spring weather.
Tough luck for Suches last time, I know you were disappointed.
Me too, a little, but meeting Dave Despain was an unexpected pleasure.

Nice warm day today in Florida. Took all the four strokes out for rides. At the end of the day, I lined them up for a group photo:
