totalruckus.com has a Met section with gobs of info.

Reading the first few pages of this thread, looks like theres a restrictor plate that can be easily removed. Then some people are using a Ruckus mainjet and needle....I lost interest reading to find out what performance was gained. Have fun!

Ya I think those things should get to 45 or so , maybe 50 but I think that might be pushing it for a met. Bigger rear tire might help too.

Mets are cool.

It was 83 degrees and sunny here today, and it seemed like a good day to drive all the scooters.. gave each one a 30 minute ride, so it took most of the day.. hahaha.. After each ride, I parked the scooter on the back lawn, and then took a group photo after finishing the rides..

Holy baskets, Batman! Nice collection. We've had snow flurries all day and my main scoot is in pieces at the moment for Winter upgrades. Cant wait to get back on the road. :peace:

Mike.. I hear you, I'm trying, but they are very scarce. I've been looking for one for two years now, 6 times a day on Florida craigslist and eBay.. There must not been many of them sold in Florida. Two years ago, I saw a black one that was on craigslist in Daytona, with no title, and missing half of it's parts. It sat on craigslist for a month or more, but I thought I could do better. None have come up since then, so I missed out.. I'll definitely make room for one if it has a path to a Florida title, and is mostly complete.

Meatball.. you are right.. baskets are the nuts! They let you quickly get out your dog biscuits when you pass a lady walking a dog, and also let you stash your cheeseburgers when you go through the drive-through window at McDonalds, without turning off your engine, unlike underseat storage or locking glove boxes. All the baskets and mounts on mine are OEM Honda accessory baskets, except for the ones on the Elites. Every scooter except one in the photo has a basket.. either a front basket, a rear basket, or an open top knee basket/glovebox.

How do you manage a drive-thru? Just pull up to the window to order? Ive sat at a red light for an eternity waiting for it to change since the scoots are too light to trigger the underground light sensors. Im assuming that would be the case at McD's. Ive even gotten off the bike and had to go hit the crosswalk button just to make it change.

Even the smallest scooter seems to notify the McDonalds order taker that I am at the speaker at the McDonalds by my house. I don't know if there is a wire loop in the pavement, a motion detector, or a camera, but they know I am at the speaker every time. At the Burger King, I just drive up to the window and order, as they never seem to know when I am at the speaker. If there is a moderate line at the Burger King, then I order at the window, and then I circle back and get in line again and pick it my food when I get back to the window. If there are more than 3 cars in line, then I just park and go inside. Also, in my neighborhood, all of the loops in the pavement at intersections to control the traffic lights seem to detect a scooter, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that..

Greetings:

Sheesh! Do you have a 20-page Excel Spreadsheet to know which one's coming due for a new battery, tires, carb cleaning, belt, roller replacement.... I guess if you love something enough it's worth going overboard.

The pull of the dark side, strong it is.
Solar Wind first ride today, great it was.
Four years with a full gas tank evaporating, jellified it was.
Fuel gauge sending unit, fuel pump, fuel filter, bystarter, crud they were.
Basketized today, it is.

I just scored an OEM Honda basket this morning to stick on one of my Sprees. :) I need one of those Gyros so my wife can ride without falling over.
