Failure report.

I have blown the welds on the intake... or the exhaust.

I ripped the exhaust hanger clean off the pipe. I knew it was coming. I have been putting off re welding it because well I'm 90% lazy, 80% of the time.

I also popped a head gasket/oring, so now she sits as I wait for the replacements from europe.

I pulled a bunch of timing out of it, sitting around 15 degrees from 17 and it's quite a bit quicker. I tried to find any definitive info if my Daytona CDI boxes have a slight curve and what that would be but I can't find any info if they are just straight timing or have a curve programmed, So with some trial and error I have this. If I want even more pulled, which I am curious to try I will need to re make my timing plate that holds the pickups. Past me didn't plan well for future me.

I also have started making full exhausts, have got all the port timings, ran it thru a few calculators and will probably try to get the header sections done asap. I finished making the cylinder flanges yesterday and boy howdy they look sporty.
