Looks awesome. Why did u want to go with the small spline crank?

I didn't, I just had the cases.

I am putting a large crank in there. JiangWayne sells the seals to convert it.

I'm curious to see how those seals hold up. I have a spare small spline af18e that idk what to do with.

Well I guess its more complicated than just seals.

I will need to machine the bearing pockets deeper to use a late model crankshaft. It is not as easy as just seals. KN also makes 11mm wide bearings for this reason but I wanna use C4 bearings and they just look like taiwan bearings.

All in all its probably easier to just to buy another set of later model cases.

And in case anyone is wondering, a early small crank web to web thickness is 34mm +/- .1

A late large crank is 36mm

Wow that much work. Thanks for the heads up. I was gonna just use an af16e case on the trans side, if I build that motor. But In have a big spline af18e to play with.

Well their are either the KN 11mm bearings and jiangwayne seals or bore 1mm each side.

I am going to attempt boring but also have another set of cases on the way as well.

Hi pito. If you machine the bearing Pockets deeper, the bearings make cover the oil fill hole? Or not enough oil flow too bearing?

That may be a possibility, but those holes could be hogged out as well.

Ive got a large cases on the way here so if it doesn't work, Meh.
