Heat cycles are finished just waiting for temps to warm up so I can tune it and do the final tank or two break in.

Some pics getting the army ready for summer.

Nice collection! It made me do a search to see how long it has been since we heard from 1man8scoots. It will be two years in a month. I hope he is still scooting..

Mr. 1man8scoots doing well and still very active elsewhere.
He is the guy who bought my last NS50 and he is still doing it up proper.
I will make an appeal to him asking him to rejoin our family here.
Hope you are home safe now Vaughn. Que pasa ?

Working on the tuning, I am currently running a 40 slow and 108 main jet (24mm PKW Polini). Runs great at idle and WOT, Temps hit around 320 max on a speed run. Hitting 62 mph and happy with the spreed. My only issue is got from idle to WOT the bike will bog once it is warm. I have to rev it three times to get to the power band and can leave it WOT with no issues.

I am guessing I need to play with the needle position, not sure where it is located now. Do you think I am running to rich and need to drop the needle?

Started a ZX rear pulley swap, looks like I need to grind two areas in my case.

Careful twisting the throttle too quick after the ZX Swap or you’ll be flat on your back. Roller swaps are also in your future afterwards. Report back results.

Wow you are not kidding, I almost lost it on one of the first pulls. It really wants to pickup the front wheel an low speeds, it does feel like I lost some top end speed but didn't have my GPS on, I am impressed!

You did lose some top..its a give and take with CVT. You can get top back with taller gears but then lose some bottom. Just have to find that sweet spot between the two how YOU ride. Do you want high speed 75+...or a torque monster that crushes stoplight to stoplight?

I got the frame brace mounted and ready to weld the bungs to the tube. I ended up machining the the fork mounts out of stainless.
