Greetings:

A most sanitary and well-executed build, well-done.
Word of Caution: The black cup on that air filter quiets the intake moan but is extremely restrictive in my experience. Well-tuned for an open foam filter, my Fabrizi would barely run when that cap went on. Probably needs 3 or more jet sizes Down, with commensurate decrease in power, if you install it.

Will the filter be unrestricted/plenty of air if I take the cover off?

Dry fitting parts.

Greetings:

If it's like the filter I had, there should be a foam cylinder under the cap - like a UNI. In that case there's almost no restriction - AND no sound dampening. The roar from the left side can compete with the exhaust racket.

4 heat cycles in, might take it for a ride tomorrow. Next step in a met front stem, wheels and a disc setup.

That thing is just unbelievably sweet looking. Do you plan on doing any VHT paint on the pipe?

I am not planing on painting the pipe, it looks to be clear coated from the factory. If it starts looking rusty I might re-coat it.

It turns brown after a few rides. Gives it a nice cooked look.

It has been some time but I am still working on the spree. I did get to take it for a short ride up and down the street but am still in the breaking in process.

Without many projects this winter I decided to continue working on the spree. Next step is/was larger wheels with a nice tires and a front rotor brake. I ended up going with a metro stem and NCY wheels with 90/90 S1’s. The rest still needs to get on order but this is where I am at. Big thanks to the Scooter Swap Shop for great info and helping with tons of questions.
