Search, carving out for a ruckus.
Ruckus varis are larger diameter, people carve their case to fit it, just barely fits.

Thx, I didn't want the curly chamber look and I like the PG's deepness and shape. Upgears in close to stock elite thats one thing I wish I tried, bet it would do it pretty easy.
try putting one scorpion on that and youll forget about that PG

Using 28mm OKO carb:

Pilot = 55
Main = 142
Needle = 1clip rich from middle
A/F = ~1.5turns out

Trans
(same settings as before):

Lathe lightened Keli with 5.3g Malossi x6 for 32g total
2k Clutch Center spring
2k Jog style grab springs in stock clutch
Malossi 7:1 primaries

After months of various trial and error and trying literally DOZENS of jetting configurations I am set and very satisfied with this one :D

For anyone running a similar build I would HIGHLY recommend starting at this jetting as a baseline.

I have a 32 mile commute to school and have used it many times for testing each seperate jet combo, so there is LOTS of time and distance behind these results.

What I've seen is running the needle with mid clip position, you can run much higher pilot and main (58, 152 to be exact and overly rich!) and see great temps at WOT then see temps creap up at part throttle, BUT a richer needle helps tremendously when letting off or just cruising at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and with leaner pilot and main allows to jump back into powerband at nearly any throttle! Smoke is greatly reduced as well.

Latest top speed, attained with richer 145 main:

74.5 MPH by Garmin GPS (with stock mirrors btw! removing should see +1-2mph)

Smoke em 2 Stroke! 8)
thank for the setup info. :happy:

Using 28mm OKO carb:

Pilot = 55
Main = 142
Needle = clip in middle
A/F = ~1.75turns out

Trans:

Lathe lightened Keli with NEW 4.8g KOSO Rollers x6 for 28.8g total
NEW 2k Clutch Center spring
NEW 2k Jog style grab springs in stock clutch

Malossi 7:1 straight cut primaries, FRESH gear oil change 9.7k miles

RESULTS:

This combo is BANANAS! Good get up and go launch, revs out a bit much on up to 20mph but then cruising and hitting the throttle at any speed gets you RIGHT back into the powerband, just awesome for taking sweeping turns and powering through out of them :D
thanks again :surprise:
