Can someone recommend me some rollers? What weight is used in a stock 88 Elite LX and a 01 Elite SR? I'd really like to get the scooters runing good "stock" first before i go and tweak them.

I found these on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Di ... tsupported

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... tsupported

I weigh somewhere around 290lbs.. If that matters.

I like the normal fast take off of the elites so i'm not really looking to go up in weight.. Just want to buy smart and cheap at the same time. I was going to just buy the sets from the honda dealer, but just wanted to ask if those suck.

Greetings:

All Honda 50s are 16mm x 13mm. Don't know about your '85, but my '87 arrived with 10grams. No reason to believe the '85 would be different.

Found these 8.5g weights.

I might drive over and check out the warehouse. Probably some good stuff in there.

Funky rollers? Those sliders are good stuff.

Me too. I've had an NCY pipe on my Ruckus for the last 500 miles and I like it.

Does anyone have the store names of these cheap rollers on ebay? I can't find them because the links are leading to an expired listing.

Thanks

sliding weights (at least the dr pulley ones) pretty much suck.

their weight rating is always wrong compared to a roller. they don;t wear THAT much longer in all reality, and the price is HORRIBLE

have you tried them on your bike? i put them on my dad's and i just had brand new 4.5g(jog motor) rode it, than 4.5gslidders. the slidders didn't give more MPH on top but it had betetr response and smoother power delivery. i think i may have to 5g for top end. i put them on about 2 months ago and will chekout how they look some time this week(hopefully). maybe take pics if i have the chance. and they come with new variator slidders, which wear out pretty fast if i ride hard. i know people who swear by them

The DR sliders have been around a long time. I have a friend who swears by them but while I have looked at them for years I have never tried any.
DR sells a kick butt clutch set up also!
