86 Spree, Best Big Bore kit suggestions.

Post by Senna5194 »

Hello,
New Here, Just bought a 1986 50cc Spree for my girlfriend and I want to buy a big bore kit as a surprise. What brand do you guys recommend ? I would like reliability and quality over something that makes a lot of power but is not good quality.

Also if you could recommend pulley’s and Carburetor suggestions to go along with a big bore kit?
Thx in advance for any advice 👍🏽

You have very little to choose from sir.
Spree is not supported by the aftermarket producers for speed parts and such.
tazland001 [chop-chop123] seems to have sold out
I don't know who else sells one...maybe ScooterSwaoShop has something.
General consensus is that Spree engines are BEST left stock for everyday use.
If you want a faster Spree, SWAP in a different engine, as in AF16 or AF18.
Good luck with whatever you do...motor

I too was looking for a BBK but I decided to buy an AF18e instead, will be much easier to go fast.
