After I get the new clutch and bell on I'll determine if I need the overdrive kit or not.

You always need the overdrive kit! Just be sure it'll fit under your kicker cover.
There's an overdrive for the dio Zx as well, I had one on a bike I sold a while back.

i could get more pictures later tonight of the mount set up.

got the bike running better, can keep it in the power band and it screams untill about 55 then it runs outta gearing. so thats next on the list along with lighter roller weights. i ordered up some 4.5-6 so i should be set there. a few more things and she'll be running like a top!

I took the spree up to the 1/8 mile drags last night. The bike was very consistent at around 13.42 at 50.89mph, with stock gears. They are having another bike class on Sunday hopefully my gears get here today I think if I paired them with 4.5g weights I could get more acceleration

What went out? It's hard to kill the cdi but the stator can go bad easy if the reg is bad.

I don't know what went out! It's been on my mind all night. When I was trying to get it to fire I thought that it was just flooded with a fouled plug cause it would fire for just a second,so I pulled the plug and found out I wasn't getting spark. Well how could I not have spark when it fired very briefly? Anyway I pulled off the fan cover and say my pickup sensor wasn't secure anymore the bracket holding it broke so I'm thinking for sure that's what did it so I swapped stators with a oem zuma one I had and still nothing! It's possible this yamaha stator was already bad but no way to know. I ordered a new 40qmb stator and 86 spree cdi...I don't know what it could be. I have an idea that maybe when the pickup broke it sent a signal to the cdi and fried it maybe? But I also tried wiring up a generic cdi I had and I still couldn't get a spark. Very confused :(
