I rode it around my block the other day. It's a real dog w no trans tuning or airfilter, I had to cover the carb w my hand just right to get it to accelerate. I'm still waiting for my China filter to get here, but I'm starting to think I lost $4

So, bent bike (a motorcycle parts store up here) is closing and I went to check out what they had and I scored a couple good deals. I got a 3"x4" uni filter and a 10x5 itp aluminum wheel. I'll post pics soon. Now I need to find a hub for a vertical minarelli that I can bolt up my mini-fatty to!

Yeah, I heard Bent Bike was closing so I called em a few weeks ago and asked if they had any 80's-90's Honda scooter parts. The guy was clueless on his inventory and told me I had to just come down and dig through the mountain of random sheit. I didn't wanna make the 1-1/2 hour drive to find out...sounds like maybe I should have!

Rather have something stronger than a spot welded sheet metal frame for those off road bumps n jumps. My BMX days as a kid I remember snapping a couple frames on dirt jumps and back then I weighed 120 or so. Now that I tip the scales at about 200 and don't heal overnight Ive learned not to play with fire. Us old dudes are brittle!

Greetings:

Even the engine cases, while fine for paved surfaces, have been reported to crack offroad. Proceed at your own risk.

There is no better place to have fun on a scooter than jogging trails.

Oh, and BMX tracks and Velodromes.

Jogging trails arnt too tough on it, not alot of jumps. I have cracked a case on my aero but not sure where, tho I got a feeling it was offroading haha.
I'm gonna have some fun on this one but eventually I'll convert it to pro street-style, low and long.
Don't think I'm pulling any stoppies on this front fork tho. Hard braking makes it dip forward so hard I think it's bottoming out haha no more damping on this fork left.

Lowered it and put a 90/90 on the front, need to do the back still. I'm gonna do 14/42 upgears I think. They'll be straight-cut and noisy but I'll hit 55 or so.
Also, i put a 90 main jet in the carb, and I found out my mikuni carb is 16mm not 19mm.
Anybody got a rear body panel for cheap?

Looking good man. A 90/90-10 fit that front rim thats interesting. I been contemplating putting a prebug front end (rim, fork, front brakes, etc..) on my jog. Also your scoot looks like it wont have enough rear suspension travel and will bottom out.
