Yes, this probably explains why the throttle needle when I pull out is dry. I will try to manually choke it with hand under intake ports on airbox to pull vacuum. Thanks

Btw, what do the leads do on the bystarter? If the whole reason for the bystarter is to drop the needle when it gets warm to stop the extra fuel then why the wires.

Coming from what source though? Tested the leads & got 2-3volts. (Not running) of course. Do these leads get 12v once running to tell the bystarter to close. If mine is broken then this explains why ive been running a lil rich when the scoot was running. Never closed off the extra fuel.

Gotcha, starting to all make sense now. Not home to test but holding my hand over the airbox holes hopefully will make her fire up. Never had any issues starting until I cleaned the jet. (Wouldn't go past 15mph) after that, I rode it twice & posted the speed pic on previous page. Then, this.... no start. Kinda weird. Semi clogged jet=starts great. Clean jet=problems. Lol going to bench test the bystarter anyways but technically if it never closes it should still fire up.

Let me ask u this. Would an airbox cover that's 90% sealed cause the vacuum to not be enough to pickup the "more" fuel coming in now aftet cleaned jet? Same cover but fired up before because the jet was semi clogged therefore not that much vacuum needed. :-O if so, I might have to use some sort of sealant to get the airbox lip to fully set. Quite the puzzle I have here. Everytime I mess with it, it gets closer & closer to running great :-)

Ok, so I just got home a little while ago and this is what I tried. Inspected air box. All is ok. Maybe a minute gap. Held hand over air inlet on box, Gave a couple start bursts. No go. Held hand over carb directly with no filter. No go. Gas just came out. Tried 2 spark plugs. .025 & .028 gaps. Still has spark. Placed thumb over plug hole & gets sucked in & blown out. Seems fine. Bench tested bystarter, it heats up from 84┬║ -98┬║ pretty quick & definitely protrudes outward. Has to be spark then... not sure if it is actually firing being inside cylinder. Anyway to test? Alligator clamp to head then to plug, to ground out. When I tested it I went to frame.

have you done a proper compression test ?? putting your finger on the hole will tell you nothing 30rpsi will blow your finger off but you motor wont run on 30psi.

soundz you have tried most other parts .Have you checked for carbon build up in the exhaust or a blockage

Checking for spark next with a jumper going to spark plug hole. Because compression is great.

Spark is there, whether I go direct to frame, engine shroud, & used an alligator clamps on the ends of a cable. All signs point to a weak spark. Going to bench test cdi......

get 2 spark plugs.... put the plug in the motor put the jumper on the tip of that plug .... then put the other end of the jumper on the other base of the other plug ( not ground the plug out )... then the coil on that plug... role over the motor if the plug out side of the motor show a spark then the one in the motor is working as well...
