Greetings:

More oil isn't always better, even for break-in. The ratio you proposed is about 1:16. That's likely to leave a massive puddle in the crankcase, foul the plug as well as the Tri-County Area air for months. Worst of all, the air-fuel level will be very lean. The engine may run so hot that the over-abundant oil still won't stop it from seizing. Run the pump and one ounce per gallon; should be enough.

If youre using that malossi I gave you just do a premix of 32:1. 4 oz 2 stroke oil in the can then 1 gallon of gas from the 93 octane pump. You can get baby bottles that have the OZ marked on the side for measurements and for taking along for the ride. I always bring an extra 2 OZ of 2 stroke oil with me just in case I need to put a half gallon in I can do that and just drop the whole 2 OZ bottle in with it. Sometimes theres not enough room for a whole gallon so thats why I only bring 2 OZ for a half gallon of gas. You can always bring multiple baby bottles. I wouldnt suggest running lower grade fuel than premium on the malossi bore.

LoveMyHonda yes im using your bore and head ....
the spree only tank only holds 0.6 gallons of gas that two oz of oil for a fill up if its about out of gas ... i believe that if i put 93 octane gas in it at the pump the the hose on the pump hold about a 1/2 gallon so i wood not be getting 93 octane gas that way ... once i get the motor up and running im going to do a compression test to see what compression i have the books says stock is 114 to 171 ... i think if its over 171 ill use high octane gas or do you even its under 171 i shood use it ????

I dont remember what the compression was but Im pretty positive it was under 171, Im thinking it was near 160. I hear ya on the pump, but honestly I would not run that kit with lower grade fuel if possible. That kit was fun when I got to ride it, Ive only used Polini cylinders prior to receiving that engine. It really woke up that af05e.
I didnt know the spree only held that little fuel, wow that means you get 2-3 runs down the strip with a big stroker if youre using the stock spree fuel cell.
