This thread is getting me more excited about my spree dio build. If I can cruise at 50mph real nice I'll be happy and of I can go 63 I'll be over the moon. I just want to be able to mess with people who think my scoots are ebikes. Man do the kids in the Honda civics with the 3 inch fart cans get upset off when you leave them in your dust up untill they hit 40mph or more. I was doing that with my spree with the bbk pipe and carb. And with the express as well.

Hi PTSG.
Take the dio motor off the 140 pound elite, put it on the 95 pound spree and your ahead of the game.
add the stuff on the list and keep tuning.
50-55mph no problem. GL :thumbwink:

Hi forum.
I did some adjustments on the carb and added a scoop.
It did bring the temperature down a bit.
After a 10 mile ride @ WOT the max temp was 343 degrees.
I'm still working on the stock carb, may have to get a stock with the pilot jet. or make a bigger gas tank and put on 21mm or 24mm carb.

I just got an arreche 17.5 that Im planing on using on the stock cylinder. Maybe its a solution for you as well. They make a flange mount style arreche 17.5 and 19MMs, Ive ran the 19 on an airsal 48MM kit and expansion chamber with decent results. Nothing neck snapping but good power and good mpg. The arreche 19mm came with a 15 or 20 pilot and 85/90/95 jet that worked great for the 48mm kit and Id guess it would be close to the corsa if you used a stock style intake and not open cone or sock style air filter.

Hi LMH.
Who sells the arreche?

Dude! You are making me wish I had a diospree... Oh wait, I have a dio motor and all the mount and parts coming to build my own :geekdance: you are an inspiration having the guts to ride that at such speeds. I can't wait to see if I have the heuvos grande to do it too :nervous:

Thats really impressive. I had to do some work on my elite the other day and was curious what my stock exhaust would do. It was horrible, probably because I still had my 26mm carb feeding the engine.

Hi PTSG. It rides normal.
The Spreedio is really stable at 60+mph. I'm 170lbs and was driving with one hand sometimes to adjust the green bag I had.
I did reinforce the frame by the motor mount. I don't know if that made a difference? you can see the photos on my first spree AF16 motor swap build.
PTSG, I do recommend front brakes upgrade of any kind. drum or disk. plan on spending some money with brakes.
the stock spree brakes DON'T WORK at high speed. the metro brakes do grip better.
It took me awhile to get everything together, but worth it. I can stop.

Hi deuce. thanks
yes your carb is too big. you would have to tune it to you pipe.
I drilled out the washer on the pipe. also had no carbon in it.
Up the jet on the carb. down the C clip all the way on slide.
The polini corsa is the power 8.4 is the speed.
A little more fine tuning I know I can hit 65+
waiting on metro wheel and a bigger tire for that.
the spreedio weighs 100 pounds. :)
