The boost bottle will help around town, but on long wot runs it does nothing. There's a lot of theory and black magic/voodoo but in the end it's just a storage chamber. There's a lot of theory on placement as well. I ensure mine is 50% of the bores volume, and ensure it is above the exhaust port in location. Doesn't matter how far above just that it is above. Also your vacuum line adds volume so try to keep it to a minimum.

I think one of those carbs and intakes will be a purchase down the road. ;-) it looks like the carb and intake are oozing with quality. Do those come in a 21mm I think that one of those intakes would be great with the spree with a big bore kit. And a good quality carb would really help wake up the spree block. I'm thinking of doing my second spree with the big bore kit down the road :-)

these carbs come in 15,17.5, 19, 21, 23, and 24mm. And yes they are oozing in quality, and are lighter, and more compact than the oko.
that is so awesome. I could upgrade the stock carb on a stock spree with one of those. Hmmmmm

I'm tuned in! I wonder how this would fit under the aero panels...

My 21mm oko /ct mani fit under my aero panels on af05 but the uni filter I was using squished up against it.

The only reason everyone is stuck on OKO is the price.

You just cant get a Quality Flatslide carb for 70$

Plenty of options for round slide though.

Not the cp. The regular polini carbs do.

Update. Just did a quick little wot run, Def need to do some trans tuning. Not turning over 8100. But, hit 58mph before I came up on traffic, wot never broke 300. And that's on a 110mj, with a monster arrow pipe. Maybe our oko's are only good for drinking fuel. I might be down to a 105/100 main, on a 50mm/arrow combo. That's nuts.
Wow this sounds awesome :-) I really want to try one of these. Maybe it would be a sweet upgrade for the aero 80. I want to try a better bigger carb on it but I dont want to loose too much milage. One of these Mani's and carb could be the answer. And stock spree bore and big bore. The spree big bore worked great with a 21mm oko should work wicked with one of these carbs.

I agree for sure. I think the 17.5 could even work on the stock spree bore with the pipe and porting. I think you have really found something that will change the way we carb up our scooters :-) as soon as I get some time I think I need to try using be of these babies on at least one of my scooters.
