Greetings:

Yes, and very nice build. My next questions would be how long did you keep the throttle pinned? What speed? What RPM? The Contesta should be able to pull 9.8s with the variator fully shifted, unless that Contra spring is way too strong for the 33 gram load.

Installed a new rear shock tonight. It's about an inch longer, but fit in perfectly! Has lots of adjustments and gives extra clearance between carb and plastics.ImageImage

Took her out for a max speed run. Only hit 87kmh (54mph). Only hit about 325f, so I'm thinking that my mj is too large. Gonna throw in the next size down.

Installed a 36pj and a 102mj. Gets up to 90kmh in hurry now! Max speed was 90kmh, 9710rpm and max temp of 355f.
gotta look at the trans yet as to see why I'm not going all the way out on the variator.

A total of 33 grams.
Wheelman said I should check my clutch pulley to make sure that it's not binding which would not allow the variator to fully open.
I wonder if I should increase or lower my roller weights if the pulley is fine?

Not that I'm an expert but I think heavier weights would help push it out further. I was running 6.9g rollers with my contessa. But think my set up was different than yours. Trial and error work your way higher. And my current setup hasn't gotten the belt all the way out on the variator yet. But then again I haven't maxed my speed out yet either

Yes, I'll check out my clutch pulley first, then try out some heavier weights.
Another thing to add, my new rear shock is awesome. Now I have to get some replacements for the front struts.

Removed the rear rack this week and installed receptacles into the existing housing. Might have to put some aluminum foil tape in the bulb housing to brighten them up more.Image

Just picked up a Polini 3g clutch and bell. Hopefully I'll be able to install it tomorrow night. Out camping right now...

Installed my Polini 3g and bell tonight. Adjusted the springs for a 6000rpm engagement. Also upped my variator weights to 35.7 from 33 as that is all I could get to with I have. I think I may get the next set of weights to try further increase the weights.
Took it out for a short spin and what a difference it made though I may adjust the clutch to 6500rpm to see how that goes. I also will increase weights once I get a new set.
I didn't try top speed as I wasn't dressed properly in case of an accident!
