they're not as reliable as a Italian bbk. but I know of someone with 8000 miles on his still running.

hi forum.
I'm going to install the motor on the spree for tuning purposes.
I don't use the panels and won't have to pull the seat

If your plug is shiny black around the threaded area or at the ring it usually means you're too rich on the pilot, if it's shiny black everywhere, on the resistor tip, the arm, and the threads it means too rich all around and you will be building up hard carbon deposits. Being a tad rich is ok for break in, being too rich during break in and you can leave deposits on the piston, head, and ex port which can scratch up the bore and piston later.
Believe me I know it's a pain.
When you bored it to 50mm did you have to cut a lot like the 52.6 crank? Any fear of leaks out of the holes?
I'm thinking about doing a 50 x 50 or 50 x 51 and watching yours and taking notes!

graphite9 wrote:You don't cut into the threads with the 50. That's the nice thing about that size. Unless you have a sloppy machinist who goes too large.
Thank you sir!

thank you 1 man. I'm always looking for great advice and input.
the 50 will not cut into the holes. there is very thin layer of metal left , more for sealing then support.

That's awesome! It likes to jump, if you're light it'll be scary.

Lol thanks 1man. it likes to jump. 7.5gears. it was a little hard to do this video and give it throttle at the same time. the second half I lock the rear break and it won't jump. the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8iRE50 ... e=youtu.be
