Been doing little bit more work, exhaust being a nob, wherever I place it, it's out of place and blocks my wheel, so I'm in the middle of making one coming round the head, and it be coming out behind the carb, so at least the right hand side will have a clean view, you can just see the pipe in my pic

That thing is cool, I'm so jealous if the look!! Where's your exhaust comin out? It's pretty tight by the carb...

Haven finished exhaust yet, only routed it round the head so far? I'm going to run a small sports filter of some kind to free up some space, then somehow fit exhaust above it? It will be tight, but going to hardtail the rear anyway so that make it easier

Right then, what do you wreckon I do with the silencer? Iv roughly made the exhaust, making the pipe bigger as I go along to compensate the longer pipe, but silencer? Leave it alone and just weld it up? I'd like it shorter but will it ruin the engine? Still standard motor but it be running a small sports filter of some kind for room!

As it is, it's going to be in the way of my plate? I'm ok with that, but be nicer if shorter?

I think there's a tech guide on here to make your own expansion chamber. With your fab skills, I'd say that's the best option. Or find an aftermarket 2t scooter muffler and modify

Cheers mate, room is my issue, with the carb and filter, I do t have room to adapt a race pipe, il see how bad it is as standard, then go from there, don't know how my heavy wheel will effect a little 50?

I don't think it'll be too much stress on the motor, but I'm not sure that bike has a variator so it might not be that fast anyway haha. I'm sure the stock pipe should be fine. It looks cut in half tho haha.

Well my exhaust fits a treat, took me ages to find out why it had lost its spark, then twigged there no rear shock on it yet, so it wasn't earthing, connected the earth cable and fired straight up! Next job is make my hardtail mount!
