Finally going for the big bore. SSS Order

Post by sffalcon »

Greetings! :hi:

Ive decided to go for it and order myself a BBK for my 1988 Honda Elite LX AF05E
I'm thinking BBK, Carb and Intake.

I'm looking for some feedback in terms of the parts I am ordering. Am I headed in the right direction with the chosen parts? Please let me know your thoughts!

You ditch the oil pump and have to premix when upgrading the carb and manifold correct? (hence the oil pump plug)

I live in San Francisco, so top speed isn't a concern, its all about hauling * up some steep hills!

ScooterSwapShop looks like it has been through some changes recently.

This is my shopping cart currently:

G9-

Is this carb and Manifold a good fit?

You lose the oil injection correct?

Pretty sure you need to premix because of the bbk needing better mix at least with Corsa and contessa it needed a better mix than my pump would do.

G9, the plug worked fine in my motor, but I've got the 86 aero50 version of the af05e so don't kno if there the same. I've heard the gears and some other things are different.
