Hello forum, I'm back with another one. I found this guy on Craigslist and it's in California. Jason from battlescooterstore.com used to own this. I saw it awhile back and he didn't want to do a long distant sale. Long story short I found it 6 months later and I had to get it! Got it! Now time to rebuild it. It was imported from Japan a couple times by Jason. (Was told from Dio God) lolz It used to have all the zx parts on there but was removed. The engine was a 4 stroke efi 49cc. Now it has a Honda metropolitan motor with front wheel and drum brakes. I do not like 4t scooter engines so this one has to go!

My plan is to turn this into a 2t scooter. The power band of the 2t engines is imbedded in my butts, I can not stand the 4t muffler sound. I plan on collecting parts and building this as soon as I get the scooter in my garage. And I just spent $5000 for this project and I don't even have all my parts yet. And bringing the scooter back is gonna cost too! Anyways here is the list I got so far please Chim in if you guys have any cool parts willing to let go that will work on this build. Enjoy the very few pictures I have of this beautiful scooter.

New Gold zx wheels
Gold zx fork
Af35 engine carter
Stator and flywheel
Trans cover
Cdi
Main wire harness
Malossi crank
Chameleon factory variator
These parts here are the courtesy of Sanjuro (Dio God) man knows his scooters and parts!

Other parts will be from scooterswapshop and Japan webikes
I will keep you guys posted on my build. :coolcruise:

The scooter sure looks very fine.
Maybe you will be able to finish it under $10,000...

Way nice and pristine looking Z4 !!! Beautiful! Thank you for getting rid of that metro motor and bringing another 2-stroke into the world! I wondered who would get those wheels from sanjuro. So nice! I think I would hate to even put 'em on the road.....
Can't wait to see it finished! :worship:

I really hope not to spend $10,000 maybe $6000 or $7000 at the most. But again there is no budget on this build. It's a one of a kind. Sanjuro has set a bar for his Japan bike builds. I'm gonna try follow his footsteps.

Greetings:

The part that may prove to be the hardest to obtain, install and afford is the license plate. Good luck and let us know how you do it.

Good thing for me Sir Wheelman the previous owner has it all documented and title in California, I have the title for the bike. It would have been very easy to obtain a Honda title and transfer it too. But he did all the work so i am free sailing I hope. Kansas just needs to inspect the vehicle ($20) cause it's from out of state and then I can tag and title in Kansas ($120) yay! I hope. Lolz that's what happened with my other two scoots. The dmv ladies knows me by the name (Moped Boy) lolz

That's going to be pretty awesome, doing the af34/35 swap? Looks like it's in perfect shape! Good find!

Yes sir that is correct Af35e from Sanjuro. And hopefully in a couple months when you are free, if you can help me port my motor then it would be a badass bike!

Greetings:

How are you getting a title for a scooter that wasn't intended or sold in the U. S. and A.? It probably doesn't have a 17-digit US VIN, or does it?
