With my polini sponsorship, I got a one piece full leather race suit. it will be worn at all times. This is not a street build

You should always wear the leathers anyway, just to show people how serious you are about scooting. And because I've yet to see somebody on a scoot in full race leathers!

Any issue running the carb at that angle? Or w just a bell mouth w no filter? I've got a bell on mine but I'm planning on using a giant air filter.

In the "mock-up" photo, the carburetor is mounted traditionally.
This last photo shows the carburetor reversed.
Is there an explanation for this reversal.. .. as it makes me ask the same question regarding proper functioning.

Rebuilt a Tillitson once, on a Harley Davidson 2-stroke golf cart.
Amazingly simple and worked very well. The engine ran backwards to achieve reverse.
Blew my tiny mind...

I think kx65 and rm65 intakes fit those manifolds, and they are a little straighter. I was thinking about trying one but never did.
