hi jumps. I feel that the V8 has limited revs.and more quiet. If you can afford it I would get the Polini or the arrow, Pg long. :thumbwink:

I havn't updated this I swapped in the gear set and variator. Dio stock with just variator saw 36.2 mph gps and with the gear set saw right at 50mph. Been playing with some tail light options modifing the elite stuff to fit. Also Got my front elite fork swap done. Fork swap what a difference rides like a cadillac and stops like a lambo now. Next step Im debating where I want to go with a motor build. Really wanting to do a 125cc and as little as I ride just accross my small town I think I could do just fine with the Taida 125cc. Whats your guys thoughts on this or should I step it down to say 72cc etc. I want a wheelie burnout machine. Ive had a boosted gsxr and this is almost more fun already.

The 50mm taida is a solid kit for the price, along with the 50 counter from Mallossi is a pretty normal setup. Ive seen a few guys on here that love it. Mostly water cooled though, I think you would be perfecrtly fine with aircooled though, your just going across town, not wot for hours at the track.

No I just commute around town here and there run errands. For me drive clear accross town and back is maybe 4-6 miles at a time if that. Just cant decide if want go thru the trouble of machining my motor to fit a 125cc or If willing put down $700 for the build. I don't mind a death trap thats half the fun.

I belive there is a 50mm crank that is a stuffer and the bore is all bolt on. I would open the boost port and raver edge the intake window and open it a tad, maybe open the exhaust a little and polish it. I may be wrong but im pretry sure the crank and top end is bolt in.

I see on scooterswap shop have a 49.6 51.6 and a 52.6 crank. What would the 49.6 or 51.6 crank cc be with there 55/56mm bore?

Elite with corsa, arrow, naraku, 23mm polini carb is a wheelie machine, stock gears still hits 60 easy, stock clutch but polini blue springs of course. That on a spree would be a whole dif breed of animal. You dont need 125cc or water cooled for what your looking for, 72cc is plenty.

Agreed, to be honest water cooling is only for hours of wot or racing. No reason a street bike needs it. But if your hellbent on the 125cc build graphite9 or motormike can probably send you the right way.

I haven't updated this really as havn't done to much but ride it and enjoy it. I did do a fork swap shortly after the gear change. Just used the elite forks as I had them laying there. Was quick 1 hour change. What a difference in ride quality. I did finally get some new tires. I really liked the look of the offroad tires. Went with Shinko 2.75 in back and 2.5 in front. Painted the wheels as there were really bad shape also.

Ignore that pipe in the pictures I was just playing around with something had laying around. It was way too big and killed the power.
