Re: my new 88 prebug build
I know... I'm still waiting for my other shroud and I gotta cut it out for the intake and bbk. And I need a fuel filter too.
Re: my new 88 prebug build
No shroud over the cylinder let's me heat cycle quicker (I guess) and it should be ok for a little while until I get one. The pipe is actually alot quieter than I thought it would be.
Re: my new 88 prebug build
Took it around the block today, I'm still waiting on my filter so I can tune it.
Found out one of my parts bikes has a horizontal minarelli motor w a 70cc bbk and trans work... I could a just bought a pipe and mount kit for that motor! Oh well...

Pics of how it looks now, I'm starting to put it together.
I like the venice bars and the little light pod, but im gonna have to come up w something for the gas light. It's working backwards cuz the prebug fuel tank sender is different than the venice sender. The light is on when the tank is full and it goes dimmer as the tank gets lower. I want it to come on when it's almost empty.
Also did l.e.d. bulbs in the head lights. Done the same way as honda headlights, you gotta melt off the soldered bulb and then break it out... easier to get the glass out tho cuz it's round. I'm not sure how bright they are yet but they look good.

No, I have 2 tn'g venices as parts bikes, and they have a 7/8ths bar stem. I'm a also using the bars from one of the venices, but I might go drag bars or dirt bike bars.
Re: my new 88 prebug build
There's a cover for the stem I'm not using right now that makes it look a little cleaner.
I also wired up the lights so there both on high beam and there both off on low beam. The stock bulbs were dual-beam hi and low, which is weird - my brothers 2nd Gen zuma needed to be rewired for both lights to be on.

Here's the bulbs I used. Good ole h11 bulbs, seem to fit well in anything I'm retro-fitting haha.
